Psoriasis affects millions of people around the world, causing red, inflamed and scaly patches on the skin. In August, Psoriasis Awareness Month, let’s join forces to raise awareness and support those living with this chronic condition.
The causes of the onset and development of psoriasis are still unknown, there is speculation that genetic predisposition plays a role in the onset of this affection. There are many different means and methods of treatment of psoriasis, but due to the chronic recurrent nature of the disease itself and often observed tendency to progress over time, psoriasis is a rather difficult condition to treat. A complete cure is currently impossible, but more or less prolonged, complete remissions, including lifelong remissions, are available.
Our team is dedicated to conducting clinical trials that test the efficacy and safety of potential treatments, bringing us one step closer to finding cures for various diseases. Join us this Psoriasis Action Month by spreading awareness and also supporting research into new treatments. You can contact us at bd@gctrials.com for information about your research feasibility.
