Happy #InternationalClinicalTrialsDay!

International Clinical Trials Day (ICTD) is celebrated every year on May 20 to commemorate the fact that James Lind began the first randomized clinical trial in 1747.

The purpose of the ICTD is to raise awareness and promote knowledge about clinical trials. By informing the patients and relatives, hospital staff, and researchers, we demonstrate the importance of constant exploration and development. The aim of the awareness is to improve how clinical trials are done and to allow more patients to participate in trials.

Clinical Trials Day provides an opportunity to say “THANK YOU” to everyone involved in clinical research, especially those who volunteer to advance science and medicine for the benefit of society around the world. GCT is honored to be part of an industry that adds value to the development of health care in society.
