On May 20th we celebrate International Clinical Trials Day! This is a great opportunity for the clinical research community to reflect on all the accomplishments thanks to clinical trials and all the people behind them.
Bringing a new medical product onto the market is far from being an easy task. It is a lengthy process that involves extensive drug development, a substantial budget, a lot of persistence, and conducting complicated clinical studies. However, the outcomes, when successful, are well worth it. We owe every new drug, medical device, or treatment method to clinical trials.
Congratulations to all the colleagues involved in drug development! GCT also expresses gratitude to patients all over the world participating in clinical trials. Without them, providing safe and effective medication would be impossible. We are proud to be part of this global community driving clinical research forward.
