At GCT, we proudly join the global community in recognizing the importance of mental health and supporting innovation that enhances mental well-being worldwide.
This year, we celebrate by attending the ISCTM Autumn Conference in Amsterdam, where experts and industry leaders come together to discuss advancements in clinical trials and CNS research.
Mental health is a vital part of overall well-being and productivity — yet it remains one of the most under-resourced areas in global health. Over 1 billion people worldwide live with a mental health condition. Depression and anxiety alone lead to substantial economic losses through reduced productivity.
In Europe, one in six people experience mental health challenges, making it one of the most pressing public health concerns. Despite this, only about 2% of health budgets are typically allocated to mental health services.
These numbers highlight why continued research, awareness, and collaboration are essential to improving mental health outcomes for all.
With over 20 years of experience in conducting CNS and psychiatry clinical trials, GCT remains committed to advancing research that drives progress in mental health.
