New month, new anniversary series!
This June, we’re heading to Hungary, where we had the pleasure of visiting Csilla, the General Manager of our Hungarian office.
We hope you enjoy reading her story!
When did you join GCT and how long have you been with the company?
I joined GCT exactly 10 years ago, in June 2016.
Which office are you based in?
I am based in Budapest, where I serve as the General Manager of the Hungarian office, which I established.
Could you tell us more about your role and your professional background?
I am a biochemist by education, with 20 years of experience in project management. In the field of clinical trials, I started as a CRA, then progressed to Local Project Manager and Global Project Manager roles. I have led successful multinational clinical trials involving sponsors and vendors from different parts of the world.
What aspects of GCT’s corporate culture are most important to you?
GCT is very flexible in meeting sponsors’ goals, and projects are structured to cover all key areas, including medical writing, monitoring, data management, statistics, and vendor management.
When did you realize that joining GCT was the right decision for you?
Shortly after joining, when I first met colleagues from different countries, it became clear to me. I immediately felt very positive about the company, as people are highly cooperative and always focus on finding solutions.
How does GCT differ from other places you’ve worked?
At GCT, flexibility and the ability to adapt quickly to changes are combined with a high level of professional expertise.
What motivates you to come to work each day?
I approach each day as an opportunity to work on an ongoing puzzle—adding piece by piece, step by step, to the global projects I lead.
What does GCT’s 25th anniversary mean to you personally?
It makes me feel proud and confident, as it reflects the company’s stability and strong foundation, giving me confidence that we will also celebrate our 50th anniversary together 😊.
What do you think has enabled GCT to remain successful for 25 years?
The company is built on a solid foundation. Its goals, structure, and, most importantly, the people leading it are exceptional.
If GCT were a person, how would you describe its personality?
It would be an open-minded, highly educated, and friendly person who understands that teamwork is essential to achieving its goals.
