Dear Colleagues, Dear Friends,
On behalf of the Moroccan Society of Neurophysiology (SMNPH), we are very pleased to announce that the National Congress of Neurophysiology will be held from November 18 to 20, 2022 at the Center conferences at the Palm Plaza Hotel, Marrakech. These Days will be special with the organization of the first joint sessions with the Moroccan League Against Epilepsy (LMCE), the Moroccan Society of Neurosurgery (SMNC), the Moroccan Association of Liberal Neurosurgeons (AMNCHL) as well as the Moroccan Society of Diseases of the Child’s Nervous System.
Thanks to the complementarity of the different partner companies, these days proposed by a joint clinicians-neurosurgeons organizing committee will be the occasion for important clinical updates on current topics in the form of plenary conferences, discussion sessions of interactive clinical cases, oral and poster communications, and practical workshops
The themes of the congress will be focused on:
❖ Epilepsy & Electroencephalography (EEG)
❖ Neuromuscular diseases of children and adults & Electromyography (EMG)
❖ Pain & Neuropathic Pain
❖ Parkinson’s disease and related disorders
❖ Clinical Neurophysiology of Multiple Sclerosis, Stroke
❖ Botulinum Toxin and Neuromuscular Ultrasound (NMUS)
❖ Evoked Potentials (EPs) and Intraoperative Monitoring (IONM)
❖ Neurostimulation & Neuromodulation
❖ Functional Brain Mapping
A friendly competition bringing together young people from different specialties in each group will be an opportunity for our young colleagues to measure themselves during a clinical quiz.
As announced in the program, the first day will also house a special session for those enrolled in EEG training: from technical basics to advanced training.
We will also have the opportunity to discuss the evolution of our very dynamic company and its development projects.
The organizing committee has worked this year to offer a program centered on novelties close to everyday practice. As every year, the congress will end with a review of recent literature and the interactive discussion of observations.
Hoping to see many of you at this already historic meeting.
We look forward to welcoming you.
Sincerely
